The ten cities we work from Long Beach
The radius is drawn on drive time, not map distance, because this is dense metro. Everything here is inside roughly fifteen miles, and each city has its own page written for its own building stock rather than a copy of this one.
Signal Hill
2.8 mi NNE. Hillside newer construction, oil operations, small industrial and retail.
Seal Beach
5.5 mi ESE. Leisure World association stock, Old Town beach cottages.
Lakewood
6.6 mi NNE. Postwar 1950s tract stucco, large apartment stock.
Carson
6.6 mi NW. Heavy industrial, refineries, warehousing, campus buildings.
Los Alamitos
7.4 mi ENE. Medical facilities, business parks, mid-century residential.
Paramount
8.5 mi NNE. Metal and industrial corridor, small-lot residential.
Bellflower
8.9 mi NNE. Dense multifamily, retail strips.
Cypress
9.6 mi ENE. Corporate campuses, business parks, 1960s to 1970s tract.
Cerritos
10.0 mi NE. Auto Square, regional retail, office parks, 1970s to 1980s homes.
La Palma
10.0 mi ENE. Tight tract grid, HOA-governed neighbourhoods.
Also worked on request: Hawaiian Gardens, Artesia, Rossmoor and the wider Gateway corridor. Torrance and Huntington Beach are quoted case by case rather than treated as core coverage.

Why the same paint job is not the same job in every city
Two miles inland changes the specification. Salt load, dominant construction era and the type of building that pays the bills all shift as you move north and east from the shoreline, and the coating system has to shift with them.
| City | Distance | Dominant building stock | What drives the work there |
|---|---|---|---|
| Signal Hill | 2.8 mi NNE | Hillside newer construction, oil operations, small industrial and retail | Enclave fully surrounded by Long Beach, so we treat it as hyperlocal work |
| Seal Beach | 5.5 mi ESE | Leisure World association stock, Old Town beach cottages | Direct salt exposure and a large senior association inventory |
| Lakewood | 6.6 mi NNE | Postwar 1950s tract stucco, large apartment stock | Original tract stucco reaching the end of its second or third coating cycle |
| Carson | 6.6 mi NW | Heavy industrial, refineries, warehousing, campus buildings | Protective coatings, structural steel and chemical exposure dominate |
| Los Alamitos | 7.4 mi ENE | Medical facilities, business parks, mid-century residential | Occupied medical and office interiors needing low-odour products |
| Paramount | 8.5 mi NNE | Metal and industrial corridor, small-lot residential | Metal fabrication buildings, DTM systems, graffiti-exposed street walls |
| Bellflower | 8.9 mi NNE | Dense multifamily, retail strips | Turnover volume and corridor and stairwell repaints |
| Cypress | 9.6 mi ENE | Corporate campuses, business parks, 1960s to 1970s tract | Office interiors after hours, plus tract exteriors on a settled colour palette |
| Cerritos | 10.0 mi NE | Auto Square, regional retail, office parks, 1970s to 1980s homes | Retail and dealership frontages held to a brand standard |
| La Palma | 10.0 mi ENE | Tight tract grid, HOA-governed neighbourhoods | Association colour schemes and small-lot exteriors with narrow access |
Coastal band: Seal Beach, south Long Beach
Chloride in the air is the governing condition. Ferrous metal fails first, wood joinery second, and any coating chosen on price fails inside a couple of seasons. Work here is specified around washing, corrosion control and coatings with the binder solids to survive constant salt and UV together.
Inner ring: Signal Hill, Lakewood, Bellflower, Paramount
Salt drops off and volume takes over. Postwar tract stucco and dense multifamily dominate, which means crack bedding, texture matching, corridor and stairwell repaints, and turnover schedules that have to be predictable to be useful.
Industrial belt: Carson, Paramount, port-adjacent Long Beach
Diesel soot, chemical wash-down, forklift traffic and graffiti. Protective coatings rather than decorative paint: zinc-rich and epoxy primers, direct-to-metal topcoats, floor systems built to take steel wheels, and sacrificial anti-graffiti coatings on street elevations.
Eastern tract cities: Cypress, Cerritos, La Palma, Los Alamitos
Newer stock, tighter governance. HOA colour schemes, narrow side-yard access, corporate and retail frontages held to a brand standard, and occupied medical and office interiors that need low-odour products and after-hours scheduling.

Long Beach neighbourhoods we cover
Long Beach itself is the head market and does not have a separate location page. It was incorporated in 1897 and sits about 20 miles south of downtown Los Angeles, and its housing inventory spans roughly a century of construction, which is why the coating specification changes block to block.
The 1920s neighbourhoods
Belmont Heights, Bluff Heights, Bluff Park, Rose Park, Carroll Park, Drake Park and Wilmore City hold Craftsman bungalows, Victorians, Prairie and Spanish Colonial Revival houses, most predating 1940 and many inside one of the city's 18 designated historic districts. California Heights went up between 1925 and 1927, was built out by 1939, and has been a local historic district since 1990, so an exterior change there needs a Certificate of Appropriateness before a colour is ordered.
The water side and the inland side
Belmont Shore, Naples, Alamitos Beach and Bluff Park take salt off San Pedro Bay and a marine layer that holds moisture on the film, and those elevations chalk faster than anything inland. North Long Beach, Bixby Knolls, Los Cerritos and the Wrigley Area are mostly stucco over frame on a normal inland cycle. West Long Beach, in ZIP 90810 between the Los Angeles River and the Terminal Island Freeway, mixes older houses, apartments and townhouses with industrial buildings.
ZIP codes we cover
We work the full city footprint: 90801 through 90810, 90813 through 90815, 90822, 90831 through 90835, 90840, 90842, 90844, 90846 through 90848, 90853 and 90895.
Bluff Park, Belmont Heights and Rose Park. Pre-1930 Craftsman and Spanish Revival with original wood siding, sash windows and multiple failing coats. Lead-presumed practices, hand preparation, period-correct colour.
Naples, Belmont Shore and Alamitos Beach. Direct salt exposure, canal frontage, metal railings and gates, stucco walls that need a breathable system rather than a sealed film.
California Heights, Bixby Knolls and Los Cerritos. 1920s to 1940s stock, deep porches, decorative trim, and stucco with movement cracking that has usually been caulked over at least once.
Wrigley, Westside and North Long Beach. Small-lot postwar homes, rental and multifamily inventory, and street-facing walls where graffiti recurs and needs a sacrificial coating rather than repeated repainting.
Downtown, Pine Avenue and the Promenade. Occupied retail and office interiors, storefronts and signage bands, worked overnight so trading days are not lost.
Port and Terminal Island corridor. Warehouse floors, structural steel, tilt-up envelopes and equipment. Protective coatings, moisture testing and weekend shutdown windows.

Questions about our service area
Is there a travel charge to the outer cities on the list?
No. All ten cities are inside the working radius and are quoted the same way as Long Beach. What can change a bid is access rather than distance: a hillside lot in Signal Hill, a gated association in La Palma with restricted hours, or a downtown storefront that can only be worked overnight all add setup time.
Do you work outside these ten cities?
Sometimes, and we will say so plainly. Hawaiian Gardens, Artesia and Rossmoor are close enough that we take work there routinely. Torrance and Huntington Beach are quoted case by case, because the drive across the harbour or down the coast eats a working morning and we would rather turn the job down than run a thin crew on it.
Which cities do you do the most commercial work in?
Carson and Paramount for industrial and protective coatings, Bellflower and Lakewood for multifamily and turnover volume, Cerritos and Cypress for office parks and retail frontage, and Seal Beach for senior association property. Long Beach itself spans all of it because of the port and the downtown core.
Do you know local HOA and association colour rules?
We work to whatever the association has already approved, and where there is no scheme on file we prepare sample walls and a colour package for board review before a single elevation is coated. La Palma, Cerritos and the Seal Beach associations are the strictest on this in our experience.
Can you schedule several properties in the same city together?
Yes, and it is the best way to get a good price on a portfolio. Owners with buildings across Bellflower, Lakewood and Paramount usually get one mobilisation, one colour and product specification, and a phased calendar rather than three separate projects billed separately.
Do you cover my ZIP code for work across our service areas?
Inside Long Beach we cover 90801 through 90810, 90813 through 90815, 90822, 90831 through 90835, 90840, 90842, 90844, 90846 through 90848, 90853 and 90895. Outside it: 90755 in Signal Hill, 90740 in Seal Beach, 90745 through 90747 and 90749 in Carson, 90723 in Paramount, 90706 and 90707 in Bellflower, 90630 in Cypress, 90701 and 90703 in Cerritos, 90720 and 90721 in Los Alamitos, and the Lakewood ZIPs.
Do you work in both Los Angeles County and Orange County?
Yes. Signal Hill, Lakewood, Carson, Paramount, Bellflower and Cerritos are Los Angeles County. Seal Beach, Los Alamitos, Cypress and La Palma are Orange County. The county line changes nothing.
My house is in a historic district. Does that change your coverage?
It changes the process, not the coverage. Long Beach has 18 designated historic districts, and exterior modifications in a local district such as California Heights require a Certificate of Appropriateness. Colour and material selection is built around that review.
How do you schedule across so many cities?
Crews are routed by area, not by day. Long Beach and Signal Hill sit together, Lakewood, Bellflower and Paramount route together, and Cypress, La Palma, Los Alamitos and Seal Beach run as one Orange County loop. That keeps drive time out of your labour hours.
How quickly can someone come out to look at a property?
We aim to reply the same business day and to walk most properties inside the same week. Multi-building commercial work takes longer to scope properly, because a specification written from a car park walk is not worth having.
